This is the moment an 80-year-old driver mounts a pavement and ploughs into a crowd, injuring 13 people including four children.
The crash happened at about 8.45pm on 30 September on Avenida General Guemes, the urban stretch of National Route 68 in Cerrillos, Salta Province, northern Argentina.
CCTV footage shows around 20 people gathered on the pavement when the Renault 11 suddenly leaves the road and heads straight towards them.
One young woman is struck first and thrown backwards onto the bonnet before the car continues into the group.
Several people manage to leap out of the way, but others are knocked down before the vehicle finally crashes into an obstruction and comes to a stop.
Nine adults and four children were injured, with some treated at the scene and others taken to hospitals.
Three children were taken to the Public Maternal and Child Hospital in the provincial capital, Salta.
Two youngsters aged 11 and five suffered minor multiple injuries but were later discharged after tests ruled out serious injuries.
A one-year-old baby remained in hospital under observation but was reported to be out of danger.
Several adults were also taken to San Bernardo Hospital, where three were later discharged while a woman remained in a stable condition.
The motorist, who was travelling alone, was treated at the scene after becoming distressed and disoriented but did not need to be taken to hospital.
Police said his paperwork was in order and a breathalyser test came back negative.
Prosecutors ordered the Renault to be seized along with forensic examinations, witness statements and checks of public and private CCTV as investigators try to establish why the driver lost control.
One possibility being investigated is that he became unwell at the wheel, although officials have not confirmed a cause.
