This footage purports to show Russian rocket crews shelling Ukrainian troops trying to reach the front-line town of Dobropillia.
The footage was obtained from the Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD) on 25th August and reportedly shows the strikes near Dobropillia, in Ukraine's Donetsk Oblast.
The video shows the launchers firing in sequence before cutting to explosions, allegedly a Ukrainian force being destroyed.
The Russian MoD claimed in a statement: "Naval infantry units keep the enemy's approaches and supply routes around the settlement under full control."
It said the crews belonged to the 61st Separate Guards Naval Infantry Brigade of its Centre grouping of forces.
The ministry claimed a Grad crew had destroyed a concentration of Ukrainian troops trying to break through to the town to rotate their units.
It also claimed round-the-clock drone surveillance of the roads into Dobropillia was allowing new targets to be found and struck pre-emptively.
That claim of full control over the approaches is not borne out by independent assessment of the sector.
The Institute for the Study of War said on 20th August that Ukrainian forces had recently advanced at Vodyanske, just south of Dobropillia.
It said Russian sources had claimed gains in the same area but that there was no evidence to confirm them.
Russia pushed towards Dobropillia out of Pokrovsk through June and July, taking ground and infiltrating beyond it at heavy cost.
The MoD placed Dobropillia in the Donetsk People's Republic, the designation Russia uses for territory it claims but does not fully hold.
Tuesday marked 1,643 days since Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine on 24th February 2022, in what the Kremlin still officially calls a "special military operation".
