This footage shows US Navy jets launching from an aircraft carrier enforcing a naval blockade of Iran.
The footage was obtained from US Central Command (CENTCOM) on 24th August and shows flight operations aboard the USS George H.W. Bush.
The video shows aircraft taking off and landing on the carrier deck in daylight and darkness.
CENTCOM said that as of 24th August its forces had redirected 71 commercial vessels, disabled three and boarded two to enforce compliance.
It said more than 40 ships carrying humanitarian aid had been allowed through, and that its forces remained ready around the clock.
The blockade covers traffic to and from Iranian ports and coastal areas rather than vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz to other destinations.
It was first imposed on 13th April after talks in Islamabad failed to end the war that began with US and Israeli airstrikes on Iran in February.
Those strikes killed Iran's supreme leader Ali Khamenei, and Tehran responded with missile and drone attacks and by closing the strait.
Washington lifted the blockade on 18th June under an agreement suspending military operations during negotiations, then resumed it on 14th July.
The stated aim is to stop Iran profiting from tolls it had been charging vessels for passage and to restore freedom of navigation.
Trump said in April that the measure was costing Iran USD 500 million (GBP 366 million) a day.
Iran has seized two cargo ships in response, and shipping analysts have recorded more than 20 vessels getting past the cordon.
Legal scholars are divided, with critics calling the blockade a belligerent act that is not otherwise justified and an extension of an unlawful war.
Others hold that its narrower scope, aimed at Iranian commerce rather than international transit, makes it more defensible, and neither country has ratified the main maritime treaty.
