This is the moment a young boy pedals a bicycle straight into the side of a moving lorry at a junction, tumbles to the tarmac and misses being crushed under the wheels by a fraction.
CCTV footage shows the incident in the town of Paicandu, in the Brazilian state of Parana, on 14th July.
The clip shows the child riding into the crossroads alongside a friend, apparently without noticing the oncoming heavy goods vehicle, before striking its side and being flung to the ground.
Moments later, the boy picks himself up, grabs his bicycle and walks away, appearing unhurt.
The lorry driver stopped to check on the youngster, and other people nearby also rush over to help.
A shopkeeper who was at the scene said the boy suffered no serious injuries and did not require medical attention.
