He also works as a video and illustration editor, selecting and editing strong visual material to tell stories clearly and responsibly. His role involves verifying dates, locations, sources and claims, writing headlines, captions and descriptions, and ensuring that every element accurately reflects what can be seen and independently confirmed. Dushko has strong practical knowledge of social media platforms, particularly X and Facebook, including content discovery, monitoring developing stories, identifying visual material and understanding what performs well with digital audiences. He is also interested in programming, artificial intelligence, automation and vibe coding. He uses modern AI-assisted development tools to explore new ways of improving research, verification, content production and editorial workflows, combining journalistic judgement with visual storytelling and technical problem-solving.
